It's time to move back to the MCG

How on earth do we push any commercial argument when the TV networks don’t want to air our games?

The only way we get better deals now is if we start producing on-field. That’s it. That’s Essendon’s only hope from here.

I don’t agree with that. It’s about metrics and data. Essendon still fills stadiums and a great commercial operator would be able to secure more MCG home games imo.

Does the AFL acknowledge that the surface is harder than the MCG? There are devices you can use to measure this. And if it’s harder then surely there’s something that can be done. Put a softer layer down below the soil?

imagine demanding another game at the g when fans cant even be ■■■■■■ turning up to marvel.

‘Fills Stadiums’? Do you even go to games?

I didn’t notice it was full, seats near us that Essendon Reserved seats were filled with St Kilda fans.

tear out the underground car park would be the only solution

We can’t do anything about it. Most fans prefer the G and it’s possible the surface at Docklands is a cause of Essendon’s chronically long injury list year after year.

Mc Mahon and Jackson’s biggest mistake by far.

Richmond have had two consecutive seasons with pretty significant injury lists. Must be that MCG surface.

They have portable heaters to warm ya ass up. And nice cushion for you ass to sit.

The problem is that it’s built on concrete over a car park. The answer is not to put soft stuff under but to build up the soil level.

Better still, tear it down and design it again but properly this time.

Which also happened to involve a dungeon.

No ! Biggest mistake in Club history was leaving Windy Hill for the soulless all-purpose MCG super-stadium. The money we’ve wasted on Tulla should have been spent on gaining a longterm lease at Windy Hill, paying off the old folks sports clubs there, and building decent spectator accommodation.

Yeah, I could have staying living in Napier Street and had massive BBlitz p1ss-ups after every game in my front yard, behind the fence that Ian Marsh built around 1979.

Dodo I suppose

Oh wait, Dank!
