Jackie Lambie says the Greens and ISIL are the same

She was on QandA last night, and kept speaking about politicians as if she wasnt one, which was strange.

how so?

She kept talking about politician expenditure (re Chopper Bishop) and how there needed to be an inquiry into that and private donations, but did so as if she wasn’t a politician, and Tony Jones, kept going, we, when she kept saying they, and she was totally ignoring him, it was quite amusing actually.

I meant how so is it strange she doesn’t consider herself a politician? Say what you will about politicians, she’s not one. She’s more of an australian tea party retard that people voted for because people are dumb. There’s not the first bit of politics about her.

She’s absolutely a politician, in spirit as well as actuality. But her marketing schtick would be damaged by admitting that.

Pre-emptive strike presumably.

Yep, I agree that SHY’s voting record is far superior to Lambie’s, that’s why I vote Green, but Lambie’s is a hell of a lot better than my local rep, Greg Hunt, and frankly that surprises me. I note that for all of Lambie’s anti Green huffing and puffing there are a number of correspondences in their voting records.
And frankly I especially admired the way she resisted Morrison’s migration bill Christmas Island children hostage trade off for the end of commitment to the refugee convention when most of the other cross benchers caved in.

She’s a Tasmanian senator. She thinks this is the way of protecting her meal ticket.

Hopefully she’s wrong; but that is only a “hopefully”.

thats offensive.

Just on the greens, I think Larissa Walters is probably the best looking politician, yes/no?

Wow Ben, Scott Ludlum has just burst into tears !

I was a Kate Ellis fan, after meeting with her one on one in her Canberra office. Pictures do not do her justice, and she seems taller than TBC.

As I get older, I favour Julie Bishop, as I would like to do to her as she and Tone are doing to all of us, and I like the mature types.

My skin just actually crawled.

as far as polys go, thats pretty good

I did say for a poly, like if the world exploded for everywhere but the Aussie senate and you had to choose one to repopulate the earth kind of way

But depressingly true. NW Tas, where she is from, is full of them. Truly scary place.

A threesome isn’t particularly more efficient in ensuring fertilisation.

This all very sexist and parochial, especially considering the young Benazir Bhutto has the political field covered and then some.

How pathetic are you?

Lambie will get elected for life and probably get one of her followers elected. As Nick will attest, this is Tasmania and logic has never been high on reasons for voting someone in.
