Well, if you’re driving down Royal Parade, I guess you could stop off there.
It’s high risk due to the exposure that comes with having somebody like that on your list.
If we do get him then the microscope will be on him and in turn the pressure from the Essendon supporters.
Dees and Geelong don’t have grudges against us. north, dogs, gcs are some notables that do, for whatever reason.

The problem is that the Dogs are one of those pissant clubs. The deal for Crameri was not a smooth one.

He nominated them & no one else because of the McCartney link, that’s where the problem lay. If the player only nominates one club like Crameri (or Ryder), one club is instantly hobbled & the other holds all the cards.
We need Stringer to nominate us & not both us or Geelong, cause that then starts a bidding war.
Let him just nominate us & we can then get one back on them for lowballing us on Crameri.

Footscray have made it loud and clear that they are getting rid of Stringer. To me they have played their hand which lowers their bargaining position straight away. All the scuttlebutt that has come out since lowers it even further. I don’t think we will be offloading our first round pick for Stringer.
The other issue is we aren’t frothing at the mouth for a forward, we are after a midfielder.I am becoming increasingly convinced that the only way Stringer is going to help our midfield is by allowing us to push Tippa or Raz into the middle.

Essendon being pumped up again. Expect much MSM speculation until Stringer announces his decision. They need clicks to stay in business. Nothing in this article that hasn’t been covered in here many times over, except for the part at the end about Crameri.

Aceman seems to have links within Adelaide sporting so he hears stuff and shares that when he can. He may not really hear much regarding Stringer but if he does hear some whispers he will share it with us. It doesn’t mean it is fully right but he isn’t terribly wrong either and is often providing information that is backed up by Willie ■■■■, Fogdog and others.
