They love having games there aswell for some reason, easily one of the worst.
You have to go through Crazyburn to get there. Think of Escape from New York.
Am I misremembering or did AFLVic move their hq there a few years ago? They probably want to keep stuff in their own backyard. I think itâs one of the few grounds that the u18s have first/only rights to, all the rest have to juggle schedules with local footy, VFL etc.
I remember going to a f*cking freezing wet VFL game there, back in the Bendigo Bombers days.
There was absolutely no shelter.
No shelter from the sun either, if you want to get sunburnt itâs a nice spot too

My theory is they built it this way to act as a sail, in the hope that one day the windâll get high enough to blow the whole shebang somewhere other than Craigieburn.
