Haven’t watched any football shows on tv since the start of the saga, I ain’t about to start now
you mean you havent indulged in a bit of BEST ON GROUND
Watch Hirdy tonight on Classified.
He’s good.
He did a couple of episodes last year and was pretty good
You’re not missing much. They all just:
- Pick a team who lost this week. Show footage of the players walking off the ground dejected, with foreboding music in the background, intercut with some angry talkback callers venting about the team. Then show a snippet of the coach’s press conference and then spend 20 minutes questioning his job.
- Pick a team who won this week, show some footage of them kicking goals and celebrating, and talk them up as a sneaky flag chance.
- Talk up a team they wrote off three weeks ago, ignoring the fact that they wrote them off.
I’d honestly watch a show with Hird, Lethal and Buckley, I’d even throw in Eddie just to host if he could keep his trap shut and let the others talk football
I had intended to watch one of the 6481 shows, but unfortunately I had some lint to pick out of my bellybutton, which somehow seemed far more pressing (and interesting)…
That’s a lot of lint!
Wot???
I didn’t watch any footy shows for many years. These days l watch The Front Bar, for a laugh and the special guests and their stories.
I watch a heap but pretend I don’t.
How can you guys not watch footy shows, it’s all part of the package. I love the analysis, there are so many though it’s hard to get through them all, but they all offer something different. As long as you can record them and fast forward through the parts not of interest, i enjoy it. I consume way too much football these days, I’m like in a bubble for 6 months.
you know how you liked the concept of Australian idol but you just couldn’t suffer through 60 minutes of kyle sanidilands every night?
that’s modern footy shows
Add in the all the radio shows being available on Spotify and there aren’t enough hours in the day.
No, I don’t.
it’s ok Paul
this is a safe space
No it’s not
Hird needs to visit a hairdresser.
Lawry, is that you?

Opinion - NO
