You can tell it wasn’t written by a journo – most of the paragraphs have more than one sentence.

I can’t believe he walked to the ground all those years and never hit a fan.
Hirdy by definition, can never hit the fan.
Hmm.
Thank you Darli for posting the article Enjoyed reading it and at the same time thinking how good it is that James is finding a place back in the footy world again.
I’ve been dying for more pictures. Preferably in the form a pop up.
Money making excercise.
He was hardly doing it for altruistic reasons.
I suppose it’s easy to look at the negative side of everything…Nobody else in football gave him a job in the last 18 months except SEN supposedly and they were too spineless to stand up to the AFL’s blocking manoeuvre. Herald Sun/Robbo were not.
You really think Robbo is responsible for employing people? Or even for going to the bathroom by himself?
Open question: What odds would you give Hird ever:
- Working in footy
- Non-senior coaching
- Senior coaching
Again?
Well no, so replace Robbo with anyone at a MSM rag.
Robbo just said on SEN Gambling Promotions Pty Ltd that employing Hird was way over his head, but Hird called him afterwards coz he misses trying to decipher slurred 4 word sentences.
That’s a great article and the exact type of insight that fans wont to know about from the outside looking in. The tactics of the game. How they try to motivate the players. The doubts in the coaches minds. Makes the other jorno’s look like the amateurs they are.
???
munna1 said the article makes journos look like “armatures” (not amateurs), hence hambo’s response.
And that’s why you should always quote and bold the typo you’re taking the pizz out of …
That, and if they realise and edit it, … no one has any idea what you’re on about, & you can look like a goose.
A blitz PSA for young players …
You do know that Robbo used to ghost write Hirdy’s HS articles years ago. How do you know he’s not doing it now?
Because Robbo only writes.
With one sentence per paragraph.
For dramatic effect.
