When do tickets go on sale for the JLT match against Richmond in Wangaratta?
I’d wait for the plane to arrive before purchasing tickets.
Yep don’t do what I did for that Saints game. Drive all the way up there only to find the team didn’t make it then turn around and drive back.
Where’s the farkin team already???
Stringer, forward or back?
Norm Morris oval? Unless it’s been renamed, it was Norm Minns Oval aka Wangaratta Showgrounds. Tickets on sale through Ticketmaster but probably not for another few weeks yet.
May only be the kids in a meaningless game… but I’m glad that the Bombers are going to be up my way and I can see some live action.
I think these community games are really important… helps build connections and grass roots footy.
Just a tick over 50 days until game day and I’m pumped already!
Do you reckon there will be a need to purchase tickets or can we just rock up.
(I don’t remember if I bought tickets to the match when it was held in Shepparton, just took my membership card I think)
No way would I be just rocking up! Not with Richmond having just won the flag and a bandwagon full of supporters and us with our following. I’ve been to Wangaratta for games twice, the infamous plane not arriving and the following year, I think against Richmond also and both times there were people who couldn’t get in as they hadn’t booked. Personally I won’t be taking that chance.
Yeah, will sellout well in advance
Thanks
Shepparton will be sold out enough to make it a death trap again…
Are you referring to Shepparton as the premier road death area for 2017?
Take the plane.
No, the ground itself. They’ll stuff it full and set up a labyrinth of internal fences so that even outside an emergency it takes forever to get anywhere.
Ah, the old sheep run crowd management technique. Drenching for everyone.
Do we have any news on this yet?
Have the AFL been directing clubs to pump up AFLX? Surely the club know that fans aren’t excited about AFLX and don’t care about missing it. Anyway, if they didn’t the comments show just how excited we are.
Yep some quality excitement there.
Oh well, it’s designed to be exported, just like our most mediocre wines, and sh*tiest beers.
Should fit right in.
Tourism Australia and Tourism AFL cut from the same cloth.
I’m excited by it.
Can’t wait.
