I think I understand what you’re getting at - that it is up to a good coach to bring it together. But the point still stands that maybe we both over-rate the list.

The players have turned up not interested in competing tonight.
Not putting in the extra km, not tackling, not making runs or space, not getting to the contest, half hearted with finding targets, not willing to ride a tackle and then lay off a handball.
Just looking to get through unscaved. And exhaust little amounts of energy in the process.
