Cripps vs Shiel for me. In a practice match against Hawthorn, Cripps won 25 contested possessions. Wow. Is that just because the Hawthorn midfield are farked, they were playing touch footy, or because Cripps is like one of the Guns at Navarone, or all of the above.

I really hope a replay will be able to be downloaded from somewhere. Living in Europe so I think my only option is pay the ridiculous $235 price that the AFL website offers to anyone outside Aus.

The AFL talk about growing the game overseas but only cashed up die hard fans will watch the game abroad.

You can pay $175 through EFC as an Intl Digital Membership. Watch any games you like anytime for the whole season, plus get a member’s pack. It’s not cheap but is better than what it seems the AFL website has.

Thanks for that! Much better but still very expensive compared to the $99 season pass you can get in Australia for AFL live pass. I wonder if there might be a good VPN to use for that instead…

Anyone know if audio/video replay will be available after the game? I seem to recall international video used to be free but got the chop?

(I see I can get AFLW video replays for free, but given we’re the first BLT match no directly relevant prior check is available.)

I get a regional public holiday on Wednesday ( tomorrow ) it should be Friday. Sifting through ways to best watch the game, it’s on foxtel so does that mean KAYO will broadcast it ? Currently my LG smart TV does not have KAYO so going to upgrade the Apple TV to the latest that supports it, if shown on KAYO, need some answers!!
