Yeah. But i dont like Melbournes CBD either.
Perths is a shocker, but I like Perth more than Melbourne too.
CBDs are pretty crap everywhere. Suburbs is what counts. Particularly inner suburbs.

If there is one thing Melb does well over Sydney is a liveable cbd.
Sydney is horrible. Even tho they have pumped a lot of work into it.
Nope, no Pandas.
We do have Meercats.
As an aside Ms Humble NSW fan who lurks here moved to Adelaide two years ago and loves the place.

Manhattan in NY is fun.

You see, my experience of Sydney is that it’s awesome. Of course this was about a month or so after the Dons last won a flag, and I’ve barely been there since. Reminiscing recently it appears I may have had hair then too.
Sounds very Melbourne.

They have a pretty handy forward called Ugle-Hagan arriving in two months.
Sydneys best bits are its northern beaches and around the harbour in the east. Along with national park literally embedded in the city.
Has very good food too.

Melbourne is just like any other Australian city. They’re all ■■■■.
Wimmera is right, Sydneys CBD is ■■■■. Thats why not many people from Sydney go there. And why Sydney has aggressively constructed satellite CBDs like Chatswood and Parramatta (alomg eoth thr need to ease traffic burdens)
In Sydney you tend to live in a bubble.
I lived and worked coastal southern suburbs. Took me 15 minutes to drive to work, and home was 2 minute walk to a surf beach with eater that was a bearable temperature.
It was pretty good.

Something about a hot sunday arvo and throwing a few cold ones back.

This is pretty true actually. Aussie cities dont make my top 10 faves.
