Disappointing.
Bombers fans saw the best of him.
I reckon trying to roost it 75m every time he had a chance was what was the cause of his injury.
The only time I saw him do that at Brisbane was with about 2 minutes to go in the GF.

They’re seriously extracting the urine with $100 fines for the brawl, $100 for TWO people who they can’t tell which of them MAY have tripped the umpire, and $250 for a blatant and un-provoked off-ball punch perfectly captured on the broadcast.

Joe always hated the limelight of Melbourne football culture, I doubt it was too personal towards the EFC, reckon he would have eventually burnt any Melbourne club to go interstate, it gave him the anonymity he craved, the OP just gave him the excuse to get it done faster.

I would say he was still a better player at Essendon than Brisbane.
It’s just Brisbane are a better team than Essendon, we didn’t/don’t have a good team.
We in fact wasted his talents trusting us, imagine if he stayed and did the last few years of our inside 50 entires
