Meh. Sweep the leg
wish it did

I remember the good old days in 2022 when we though Wright was better than Daniher and Hind was better than Saad.
I never thought either of those things.

All class from Joe here and thanks scooter for the upload

âItâs been a tough time for Essendon fansâ - from the guy whose decisions were very prominent in making the last decade in particular tough. Thatâs pretty hard to swallow. We mortgaged our future with the 2017-19 drafts, trading out all our draft picks so to build a midfield to kick to this guy, then he gets injured, doesnât bother to do his rehab, doesnât bother to work on his goalkicking, and buggers off after a year of blatantly not giving a â â â â , leaving us to start up yet another rebuild in a year where covid lockdowns have made the draft a fkg game of blindfold darts.
I dunno what demons this guy has been struggling with. I get the feeling he loved footy but hated AFL, and being anointed the chosen one from age 16 was probably very rough on him. Heâll probably sign up to some bush or local league, never train, and just hang around in the goalsquare, having a laugh, taking hangers and kicking bags on blokes who are plumbers doing the week, and have a great time doing it. I can have sympathy for him, but he couldnât have sabotaged EFC any more comprehensively if heâd deliberately tried. Heâs made himself very hard to like, as a fan - not that he has any obligation to give even the tiniest â â â â what we think, of course.
Alot did lol
Judas. Loafed at our club for 3 years without commitment. Departed and remained relatively injury free for 4 years. Shameful disgrace.
Yes agreed, disappointed to see people give him praise around here.
Royally farked up our club and is one of the reasons we have been as bad as we are now. Took our money and ran away with it while we got nothing back in return, got a flag with his new club and here we are.
You mean other than pick 7?
Happy for him despite the lingering resentment of him leaving us.
Which brings to mind - when was the last time a first year player created genuine excitement and enthusiasm at the Bombers?
Caddy possibly.
I wonder how front loaded Joe Danâs contract was?
My guess quite a lot(to get us the round 1 compo) and to two ensure the Lions have cap to spare to now reward players. There would be a few looking for pay rises after a premiership win.
McClug would have gotten a good deal, they will probably put a big bag of money in front of Ashcroft to get him across as a Lion for life and probably look to hold onto Rayner.
And have some kitty to go after a younger Daniher replacement.
That club is going to be flush with talent for the next few years. Screams dynasty.
Heard that said about Bulldogs and Melbourne.
Adding the best kid in the draft is a pretty nice position to be in.
Levi wonât dent their cap and if he is like his brother(rumoured to be better) be playing like blokes earning 3 or 4 times the salary.
The page is called useless afl statsâŚ
How many OOBF?
â¤131 over his career.
Just watched his AFL Essendon highlights reel oct 2020.
Man I missed him when he left.
Wonât say a bad thing about him.
Iâll just remember the good times and what might have been.
Wasnât there a bit of controversy in that Joe signed a new deal at Brisbane not that long after going up there?
