Jumper numbers for 2022

FWIW, Snelling in 11 at training today, Kelly in 37.

Great training report, although without wanting to sound too critical, it’s a little on the brief side.

John Nicholls says you’re talking through your ■■■■.

I prefer players in numbers under 34.

Good point. I don’t know how I made that mistake.

So what’s everyone’s preference now the drafts are done?

8 - Hobbs
11- Snelling
22 - Durham
26 - Kelly
28 - Lord
29 - Voss
40 - McDonough

8: Ben Hobbs
11: Will Snelling
22: Sam Durham
26: Patrick Voss
28: Jake Kelly (wore #8 at Adelaide. 2nd club + 8 = 28)
29: Leave open for a Davey twin
36: Leave open for the first Davey twin’s twin brother
40: Tex Wanganeen (Rookie) (Gavin wore #4, but that’s not available, so put a 0 on the end, like 2MP had to cop #20.)
42: Ronald Fejo Jnr (Rookie) (Natrat’s number)
44: Alastair Lord (his namesake won a Brownlow medal wearing #4 at Geelong, but he’s going to be 11 times better)
50: Garrett McDonagh (an homage to Steve McGarrett from Hawaii Five-O. Also, when you’re 50, you can qualify for Australian Pensioners Insurance, which is somewhat ironic.)

Kelly has chosen to come to us. If he wants 8 then he gets first dibs imo.

You clearly have not given this enough thought

26 is an interesting one. I’m kind of hoping they give it to Baldwin.

Hobbs had it on his jumper draft night.

When’s the AGM? They generally get presented then.

December 15th

Hobbs wearing #8 today at training.

I think it’s pretty safe to say it’s his now.

Durham in 22 is confirmed

What’s with the short socks?

I was checking out footyjumpers.com and ALL the jumpers have 22. Coincidence?

Snelling in #11? Club Insta refers to him as our #40.

Kelly in #37?

I think Snelling is all but certain to be #11.

I’m not sure about Kelly though.

I’d like to see Baldwin in #26.
