I’d shelve #4 for one year and give #5 to our highest pick, if he wants it.
No - because that would be the opposite of what I just said.
However - there are a limited number of numbers. And eventually, any number gathers it’s past heroes.
I would rather be conservative and hold out with the real special ones.

Weird that people are giving Myers’ #23 away when he has a couple of years left on his contract. Every chance that he will still be on the list next year.
Weirder still that anyone would think that Heppell or Hooker would change their numbers at this late stage, or that players like McGrath, Fantasia or Francis would change when they already have great numbers. Mind boggling actually.
Long hasn’t been upgraded yet and may be delisted, so why the fark are people contemplating giving him #4??
