My nephew came today and he barracks for North because his primary school teacher did. He has been thinking of coming over to the bombers and today I made it happen. He pulled his North Guernsey off and put my bombers scarf on. He is one of ours now. My brother asked what he supposed to do with the north jumper and I told him to throw it in the bin. Here is a photo of him hahaha

we also didn’t play the bottom 2 sides TWICE last year
there’s also 1 extra game this season
Also again we haven’t won 6 more games this season, considering they won 7 last year

Our stoppages are diabolical atm.
Midfield and forwards are by far our biggest issue. (I’d have forwards the greatest issue, mids I think only is missing a piece or two and a rejig)

Wardlaw just signed a multiyear extension, he isn’t choosing to leave.
Don’t know what others think, but we seem to prefer to stand off from the ball carrier rather than go in hard to them. And it’s mainly in tight contests that we go in really hard to tackle.

Probably agree with most of that. The young players were pretty good. Perko stood up and is doing so pretty regularly. Langers, what an impact he has. Parish I thought was really good. Hobbs keeps getting better…and maybe the Marto to half forward wasn’t such a terrible idea! That Larkey is a really good player, I’d love him in our side.

I havent watched a game of football with the sound on for years. Admittedly, I only know the names of about 60% of current Essendon senior players, but its a far more enjoyable experience.
