Any chance we can spend some money and get the Melbourne Storm lads over for some tackling drills?
It’s bad enough that we are mostly weak and stick figures but our technique is utterly appalling.
I don’t know how many times we start the tackle too high and the opposition slide their way out of it.
The Parish and Zerk tackles needs to be highlighted this week by Brad and should be the standard we go by

Had an enjoyable afternoon with my Niece for her first birthday. My brother and I didn’t watch any of it, said we wouldn’t get worked up about it yet every minute or so kept refreshing the AFL app to check the score LOL! Only bits of play I saw were Tsatas’ first goal (nice!) and a shocking bit of play where Kelly jibbed a contest and Durham also in the same play made a pathetic attempt to bump rather than tackle. The fact I expected us to lose against a team who haven’t won since Round 2 days it all really.

Playing Kelly on the wing and forward seems a waste of a position, unless Scott is trying to stiffen our defense around the ground. Otherwise, it makes no sense.
If we make the 8 and get back Draper, Ridley, Shiel, Setterfield and Stringer, (quite possible), we would be a much better team. But it’s an idle dream expecting to win the two remaining games.
Parish. He is so clever in close. Also ZT and Bryan need to be signed.

Playing his second AFL game, Elijah Tsatas showed Essendon fans what they have to look forward to for years to come. The midfielder had 23 disposals, four clearances, three tackles and kicked his first AFL goal. Tsatas also had seven score involvements. And, it all came in just 60 per cent game time.

Nope. I was reflecting on that season the other day, we won 3 games with that team, and should have won another
