With Baldwin coming in that was actually a fairly young inexperienced side. I have debated a few times we over play the young side but today it legitimately was. Hobbs, Tstatas, Cox, Baldwin, Bryan, Perkins, Martin, Durham and Menzie. 2nd half when game had to be won we were on top for much longer periods. Pretty happy with todays game. Nth had 63 tackles… they came to play for Cunnington and we held up ok. Yep we can play better no doubt but 11 wins and season still alive.
The younger players made a few mistakes here and there which is to be expected but it was the handful of senior players that disappointed the most particularly in the first half.
Once Zach gets sat on, we’ve got parish and not a lot else.
How Salty was he at the end… the bias comments were incredible, generally don’t listen to the radio but needed to do some work… Will never listen to them again
Some administrative changes, bring a few big footballers in and I reckon we will be ok in the future.

This is true, we were generally young and and inexperienced today. Glad Baldwin played and I reckon Bryan is showing a bit.
But it’s time for Perkins to come off lists like this. He’s played 60 games which is enough to expect consistency and sticking to the plan.
And Martin too. He has only has one real pre season but he is a freak and his expected output is not of a young and inexperienced player.
How shot is the competition that we are still in it with a finals chance.
We fielded probably the youngest team Ive witnessed in a while which is a positive in a dross game.
I just hope these young guys kick on to better performances and we havent misplaced our trust.
