Merrett will only ever be B grade. That missed goal at the end of the third is example 1.

I thought the Eagles would treat tonight like their grand final.
They played well and used the most of their chances.
I think it was an experienced but past it side getting one over a young side which will go past them next year and easily to be true.

We should trade Zac at the end of this year. We could still get two very good first round draft picks, probably top 10s, which could really set us up.
By the end of next year his value will have tanked. We really need to move on him right now

Last week we were much more disciplined about keeping even numbers behind the ball this week we were back to our headless chook pushing up to fark knows where while forwards waited for cheapies over the top. The difference between hepp in the backline and McGrath is just shocking. Hepp is the last guy you want pushing up to the contest because you just know he is always going to arrive a few days late.

but if wright kicks the easy 4 goals in the first half, they are up by 20 points at every break.
that makes everything else look better or more tolerable.

itās a whole process. reward for effort produces more effort.

If heās injured then why is is playing? Our season has been effectively over for about 8 or 9 weeks. Thereās no reason to keep playing him if thatās the case
