Harsh on Blitz members.
I get exactly the same spam on two of my several email accounts. The only business that has been given those two particular email accounts details is EFC.
Harsh on Oxford commas. I donāt wanna be a NewsCorp proofreader.
scans previous post to make sure no mistakeās have been made /sic

Itās all Xavierās fault I tells ya!
Funny you should say that. I am pretty confident my email address commenced getting spam way back when only after I used it for my EFC membership.
Hey, footy club do go to extreme lengths to subsidise their revenue streams. I donāt imagine EFC are any differentā¦
Mine predominantly comprise ****@suncorp.com.au, Iād like to ban all suncorp addresses but my filter can only do them one by one.
Just had my phone number spoofed for a scam. Such a bloody annoying thing. Had to change my number and now have to go through every important contact and update a phone number Iāve had for over 20 years.
is that where the scammers use your number ID to spam call others?
Yep. I had half a dozen people call me offloading about a call that their internet was being cut off unless they paid an outstanding amount and that Telstra would be back in touch with them shortly.
that happened to me a few months ago- 2 or 3 calls from strangers saying theyād just missed a call from me and I hadnāt called anyone. The scammers mustāve started using a different number because it hasnāt happened since.

Blitz member? What giveās you that idea?
I should have been more specific and mentioned you by name. Absolute disgrace that you get an honours degree at uni and donāt know basic grammarā¦such as, what is the infinitive form of a verb.

That happened to me, but I didnāt have to change my phone number. I found out because someone called me at about 4am one morning and asked what I had been calling about. Obviously I hadnāt called anyone. It turned out my number had been spoofed.
Telstra said there was something they could do to prevent it happening again and they would do it for a couple of months. I asked why not permanently and for everyone, but couldnāt get an answer.
Thatās infuriating. Telstra said thereās nothing they can do.
Perhaps Iām more charming than you.
Wow. Today must be my lucky day. I just got a text saying I got a deposit of $726,000 worth of bitcoin into my account. Whatās even luckier is I didnāt even have a bitcoin account.
So what happened!!?
