Can just see it.
Bombers go on to win the flag, even though we’ve played less games, and had to catch up playing 3 games a week cause half our team has been inflected, can’t train together and players just roll up match day with their own gear.
Win the flag from 8th place, travelling interstate every week, and everyone still claims it was a compromised season and shouldn’t count.
But we’ll be celebrating another premiership going into the trophy cabinet.

We’ll finish this round 3rd on the ladder having played 1 less game than everybody else. With the Melbourne game (a banked win) up our sleeve for later.

It’s not only possible I’d say it’s pretty damn certain.
We played ordinary last night, but clearly rusty as anything.
We’re good enough to win 8-9 slide into the eight and get belted.
It is way too early to write this team off. The week break, Covid19 concerns, a coaching team that is still finding its feet. These all have an impact.
Add to that list selection which is still hit and miss, you would expect we would have such poor showings. Get some rhythm into some players and the team in general and you may see some better quality coming through.
Further to this, the current season is putrid across the competition. I honestly don’t think you will see much quality football across the competition. Richmond is a good example of a good team (better than us) who look average.
