Amazing to think that someone can try and use a premiership clock analogy and not come to the realisation is that 1 is really close to 12, and would make sense as somewhere to put a team that had just missed their best chance and was dependent on ageing stars or something like that. And 6 is obviously as about as far as you can get from 12.

Exactly…if any team ever should be at 1 o’clock, it’s Geelong.
Gold Coast have been planted at 6 o’clock for most of their life. The clock briefly started working and got to about 7 o’clock in the year that they looked like making the 8 halfway through…Then Ablett got whatever that season ending injury was and the clock wound itself straight back to 6 o’clock and broke. Yet to be fixed and possibly never will be

Neither of those things you’ve said are easy do’s.
Falling in love with something again after the dust has settled, requires you deal with your pain and your loss before you can move onto a clean slate and start again.
Falling in love with the club again as above but also, requires honest self appraisal and acceptance of personal responsibilities or lack of them. Perhaps he needs support and help in that department to guide him through the repeated occurring patterns of behaviour.

If you asked me to say one good thing about Kane Cornes it would be that unlike many many other commentators, Cornes runs a 15 minute segment where he reads out the insulting messages people send him during the day ( where ACMA and Commercial Radio standards allow it).
Apparently he is, by consensus, a flog. Fair enough but he gets kudos for doing that segment. Actually some of the comments are quite funny.
Cannot wait for us to start our unbeaten march to the flag. LID=OFF.
