Many of us were hoping that with a run of form and build in confidence, that we could beat some of the top sides.
We simply aren’t capable of that.
We have ironed out inconsistency, which is great…… but with that comes the stark reality that we’re still a 8th-12th quality list. I don’t think there is much more growth in the players.
If we don’t win a final this year, Scott should be under massive pressure to hold on to his job come seasons end
You don’t spend the majority of the season in the top 8 and not win at least one final
Especially when you are picking teams to win now, with no eye to development

It’s very annoying that other clubs draftees come on looking ready to play from day 1. Somethings definitely in the water down at Geelong as their kids look physically ready from the get go, maybe Dank is still working down there

This is the same club that chose not to support conor mckenna when he was getting blasted by the media back in 2020. Do we really expect our club to come out and say something about the umpiring?
No, because we accept it and choose not to stand up for our players. Things like this can matter for players attitudes, coz they might feel they can’t trust the club just like how mckenna felt. Posters will dismiss this, but it really matters, players are human and they want to feel supported by the club they play for.
