Lloyd’s Best 22 with adjustments

The adjustments are to put all the speedsters along one side of the ground and watch the burn.

If they need a rest put Travis in there as long as he has fixed the fumbles.

They wouldn’t even need to kick the ball. It could be like a relay, run, bounce, handball, repeat until Orazio kicks the goal. Tippa can have a turn kicking goals as well.

Hooker,Goddard Heppell and TBC look slow now in that team don’t they.

Goddard and Heppell in particular. Treacle.

Don’t know why big blokes can’t run fast… Look at Ussain Bolt

I simply ignore any best 22 team that has hooker in defence

Yeah I’m a big fan of Hooker forward but…
If they can make the forward line work just as well by adding another target in Stringer plus the added physical development from Stewart then it’s pretty tempting.

Ambrose and Hartley are nice depth but they are worlds apart from Hooker. Still really lacking intercept marking down back without him.

I’m a bit of a fence sitter on this topic…happy to go along with whatever Woosha desides.

Yeah I am a convert. The big fella really stood up I attack towards the end of the year.

Interesting when you listen to the recent interview with Woosha. Seems that Woosha considers Myers and integral part of the midfield.

It’s going to be very interesting reading the training reports come November. That will give us some initial insight into the way the coaching panel see the team shaping up.

Certainly when you compare the potential team of 2018 against the side that made the finals in 2014 it is a MUCH faster in terms of express speed.

Switch Stewart and Stringer and the right side of the field has leadership and sensible haircuts abound.

Yep, once again our Round 1 side is going to be extremely difficult to pick.

A LOT of blokes on our list would have high hopes of being in it, and concerns that they could miss out.

But aren’t their minds quick enough to compensate for their lack of pace?

The only thing worth quoting from a hawk.

“don’t think, do”.

And when your too old for it, you think.

Not applicable BTW for well ahem most of those guys listed all of the time. Cough goddard cough*…

I hope to see these 3 striding out for the round one centre bounce. Merrett, Mcgrath, Stringer
