Marriage is totally Gay

Why won’t ANYONE listen to the NO camp for once?

That makes no sense at all.

One thing that’s very obvious about the No side is that they would chop their own arm off before discussing the actual subject.

@Warlock_Paul is the only one I’ve seen even come close to having a legitimate (which is not to say real, but legitimate nonetheless) question from the No side.

What part of it don’t you understand?

That it’s ■■■■ policy?
That everyone knew this…again, not calling it a debate…national disgrace would happen, despite assurances from the Coalition that it wouldn’t?
That this was the plan from hardline right wingers all along?

I would have thought all three of those things were pretty clear.

No. You just don’t want to hear any reasons. It’s been explained multiple times yet people dance around the subject and just yell ‘homophobe’ because that’s the only way they know how to debate.

It’s similar to poor dingus not understanding why there is a public vote.

Some people just do not get it and unfortunately for them, never will.

Voting no out of spite. Cool.

No.
You wont talk about Same Sex Marriage at all.
Neither does the advertising.

The behaviour of campaigners.
Being talked down to.
Leftist agendas.
Safe schools.

This is about whether gay Australians should be given the same rights to marry as heterosexual Australians.

If you have an argument on that, please, indulge me.

Yeah mate, little timmy instead of wanting to kiss little jimmy will be bullied then have sex with the family dog.

There are some genuine people on the no side, problem is they are drowned out by the ridiculous side who love the attention.

Ironic too

I’m not saying there’s not.

As far as I’m concerned, a religious objection is fine.
A social objection is fine.
An, eww, I think it’s ick objection is fine.

I don’t agree with them.
But I respect them. A bit. Enough.

No, it’s the ‘I agree with gay marriage, but…’ crowd that I’m appalled by.

Most sane people would be.

You probably need to understand human nature better then.

No, it’s inhuman behaviour that I don’t understand.

Edit: Thanks for getting a Madonna song stuck in my head, too, jerkface.
And no, it’s not my fault that it trumped Michael Jackson.

I genuinely hope that you are receiving the help you require.

Clearly one side being the ■■■■

The right always get a pass for being arseholes. It’s part of their MO. They love pouncing on anything percieved as the other side doing the same though. That’s not allowed and somehow invalidates them. Not the right though. Always with the free passes and special privileges.

This is not a plebiscite which is compulsory and run by the AEC.

This is a non-binding non compulsory survey.

I love the idea that this Government received a mandate on any policy (let alone the plebiscite) when they were returned with a smaller majority.

Barely winning does not imply broad support for a platform.
