These guys should come back to AUS and MEGA

Love that idea. We should also have a quarterback type player that can throw the ball to the forwards. Tsatas comes to mind immediately.

Only Northern clubs (QLD/NSW) are allowed to throw the ball due to rugby league audiences and the Doggies.

The Hawks & Tigers did it backwards over their heads from 2008 to 2020 for 7 flags

Did you forgot the Crows? It was called the Crow Throw before these guys did it.

I’ve got no idea mate but I hope he does

LOL.
Okay.
I’ll stick to him staying in USA.
His chance at an AFL career left a long time ago.

I’ve got a better chance of being a cat b rookie

I thought in previous years he was an outside NFL chance, but he seemed to regress a little bit this year.

And there’s also the fact that there’s a lot more Aussie punters over there now, so there is much more competition. Prokick is creating an embarrassment of riches.

I reckon he will try to stay in the US for a while.

Reading his social media posts, he has certainly bought into the jingoistic, god loving, Trump supporting culture of the mid-west.

Things might change once he’s forced to leave the cloistered college environment.

Who knows a son of a legend and a free hit I’d take the chance on him

Yeah, Dustin seems to have fallen into the MAGA trap as well.

Is that what happens to you when you spend four years in Cincytucky?

Sons of legends.
One didn’t bother with an U18 career. The other was average at best. Both didn’t even bother with an AFL career.
Went for a career in NFL.
Have barely touched a footy for 5 years and are 25 years old.
Both would be well entrenched in the college football system that they’d be a better chance of getting a job there than coming back and finding their way into the AFL.

That profile doesn’t scream lets ‘take a chance’ on them.
That’s a VFL level prospect.
And should be left to that. Regardless of what last name they hold.

They say that travel broadens the mind. In his case it had the opposite effect.

I was referring to mason specifically and that’s what the cat b rookie is all about for blokes who haven’t played afl in three years if clubs are willing to sign cricketers and Americans why not have a free shot at a bloke who has a background in football loves the club and has filled out considerably

It wouldn’t be that much different for Mason.
He’s a 24 year old prospect who gave up his AFL chance previously and hasn’t touched an AFL footy since. The VFL is for Mason, not a list spot on an AFL team.

Regardless of whether its as a cat b spot or not, you take a shot at someone willing to sacrifice and put in the hard yards. Mason has barely done anything and would be getting the opportunity solely because of his last name.

If he wasn’t a Fletcher we wouldn’t give two farks what he’s been doing in USA.
