All australian awards was pretty good.
Hodge and Riewoldt well deserved, Gary too. I suspect due to the saga is why they have made Fletcher wait.
Listening to Daisy Pearces life story was pretty good as well. probably my highlight. Her and Erin were the trail blazers for AFLW.
Maybe Mason can take some of that rage and put his hand up for a cat B spot.

Of course he has a point!
AwFL says “no” to an all-time champion, one of very few who played 400+ games. Yet they overlooked him so they could include someone who played a total of 55 games and 25 goals over 6 seasons. And retired only 3 years ago, so they were racing to make that elevation.
This is what some AMericans call a “DEI hire”.

They are tripping over themselves in the rush for this. Someone who retired only 3 years ago should be nowhere near ready for nomination for the Hall of Fame.
AwFL only cares about PR and feel good stories but this does nothing but devalue the currency. It is not good optics, which is the thing they care about the second most.
