Someone pointed out a while back that every win weâve had, Lingy has tried to pin it on the other team being off. Was an absolute pleasure to hear him try to do that this week, he did his best to say it was Stkilda getting ahead of themselves, until he had to begrudgingly admit we had played damn well.

How good was our back six. We defended so well all night including when we turned it over. Hate to say it but I think Bird offers a hell of a lot more defensively then Jobe and it really showed.
Special mention to Gleeson too, he took some outstanding marks. He has so much courage.

The Joe Daniher mark is quite possibly the highest point a ball has ever been marked. Normally when a tall player gets that high up they have to take it on the chest. He took it over his head! Mark of the year!
