Match thread vs Collingwood R24 2023

you can’t call an annual event “historic”

It will be about 25 points at 3QT. and Collingwood will outscore us by 2 goals.

But, most of it will be made up of behinds.

I can’t wait for tippa to slot one in the last quarter and the crowd going bonkers. The margin reduced to 70 points. Just like hurls had last year

Looks more like a rubber swimming cap.

Was so much looking forward to getting drunk in the couch and not watching this…but, I guess I might. What could go wrong?

Heading into the London office and listening in as much as possible today. Why? Well … no idea … self abuse maybe after last week and second half of this season. But really, it’s in respect to Tippa and a nod to our journeyman ruckman who both hang up their AFL boots.

Then again, last time I was in the office to catch a Friday game was us v Saints at Marvel last year. When Stringer had a day out and we belted them 6 goals in. But then I digress. Could be another difficult watch, particularly for those Bomber fans making the trip into the G. Respect to all you.

Just hope Baldwin goes well tonight.

You could end up with a gigantic hangover tomorrow and not be able to lift your head off the couch. Stock up on the pain killers.

Now that Essington is back and bigger than ever the Essington thing to do would be to win tonight. Since Weed has been out we have gone to ■■■■. Weed back in we have it in the bag. Bombers by 19 points.

Dons by 3. Tippa for the WIN. You better ■■■■■■■ believe it!!!

I’m more inclined to point towards the 99% of sides who went on to continue to be ■■■■ or worse than the couple of freakish outliers.

Surely Collingwood can’t be bothered turning up tonight. They’ll probably play terribly and still get the 2 goal win with a bit of effort here and there.

I actually have taken up an offer to help my brother move house tonight…thats how disappointed I am at the farkin club right now

On the train for the last time this season. Was half thinking about not going during the week because the players didn’t show up last week, so why should I? Walla retiring and getting a farewell match swayed me. Effort is all I’m after tonight, and that’s an indictment on a playing group when you have to hope and pray they actually give a ■■■■. We will probably get a half at best and then get blown away after the break.

You’d think they would want to:

  1. Redeem themselves after last week (and last 5 matches)
  2. Give a farewell to Walla
  3. Injure and annoy the filth…because they are the filth.

I have zero expectations the above will be achieved.

Given the track record in milestone games I’m not holding my breath LOL! The Fletcher 250th massacre at Football Park in 2006 still sends shivers down my spine…

I think we are going to throw everything at the pies and fall short by a goal

Was that the Trent Hentschel game??

Just got off the train at Flinders and walk out to the sound of some old dude with a microphone banging on about freeing Julian Assage
