When was the last time we played Richmond and didn’t look dead ordinary?
Even our last couple of wins.
Not a single decent game amongst them.
Our first half wasso bad I considered going home halfway through the second. We improved slightly towards the end. Jerrett started running hard and into good positions and it really helped open up our forward line
Sub Ambrose you need more than workrate and tackles to play senior football.

I’ve thought so. His skills are down as well. Good indication he is not getting across the ground as well as he has the last couple of years.
Has been pretty hit and miss since coming back from injury last year.

Not much you can say, one of the ugliest halves of footy you’ll ever have the displeasure of watching. Luckily they have been just as crap as us, so still a very strong chance of another ugly win.
2 goals sugar coat it, but our forwardline is non-functional against any sort of pressure/mature defence. TBell got a howler ump decision early but other than that, umps haven’t been that noticeable which is a first and welcome surprise.
Carlisle marking everything in sight, but has shanked kicks for goals and turned it over twice with poor disposal. If he can put the kicking boots on around goal and the ground it could be special.
Midfield struggling to have an impact and get any kind of clean possession. You would also think we are playing in a flood the way our players slip and slide all over the place. Can we enforce long stops as a team rule for the second half? Sick of watching us flop around, Dempsey and Hibbard two of the biggest culprits.
We haven’t been great but we are still in the game. Big second half and we go 5-3 with our season well alive.
