Matchday thread vs Port Adelaide- Round 11 2022

Well couldn’t we have thought of that when designing the jumper? We knew who we were playing.

Can expect us to get beaten when its dry, and when its wet to get absolutely smashed

It’s so ridiculous that Essendon does indigenous games twice in a row. We have one player on the list.

Ok hear me out, this is how I reckon this match plays out.
Port are coming into it 4 wins 6 losses.
Essendon are 2 wins 8 losses.

Port Adelaide are expected to win and win well.

This is where they’re wrong.
Despite the return of new forward Charlie Dixon, I just don’t think Port can match it with the dons.

Port have just came off a thumping from the Cats at GMHBA and we just got rolled late against the Tigers after matching it with them all game last week. The Tigers form has also been franked after leading by 97 points against the swans and then getting rolled at the buzzer due to an incompetent umpire!

Based on that along we should be odds on favourites coming into this match.

Hinkley will surely be a zombie today after sleepless nights all week leading up to this match. He’d be having nightmares of what we are gonna do to his team, not to mention the headache of match ups.

Rutten is all over it. He has tricks up his sleeve. Mouthguards, sprinklers and a new tactic set to be unveiled very shortly - allow me to explain:

Our mids get the clearance off a beautiful tap from Draper, Parish launches it forward into the silky hands of Shiel, just outside 50 who bangs it inside 50 to Peter Wright on the lead, WOOSH, right over his head, BUTTTTT, and this is the master plan, we have young Hobbs, right behind big Peter, waiting for the inaccurate kick way over Pete’s head, to easily take the mark and slot the goal!
Rinse and Repeat.

Look out Port, you’re ■■■■■■.

We wanted to… was canned… because someone thought that red and teal are too similar and would be confusing.

Alir Alir will be an excellent lead up target for us tonight

Some very dark clouds over the coast. I’m 6km southwest of the city so I’ll let you guys know when she’s about to get moist. I’d say halftime Q3.

It’s more so Port can do it in front of their home fans. Essendon just making up the numbers in basically everything these days

it’s very funny

He’ll get BP of intercepts

They absolutely hate him.
Has a trigger clause where they make finals and he gets another year. They would rather miss and get rid of him

The DT jumper from last year would’ve been the perfect one for both Richmond and Port in successive weeks, as we’ve been the away team for both games and against both club we are deemed to have a jumper clash. Hold off on this year’s jumper for 2023 when we have DT as the home game.

The entire league does two games. Collingwood had an injured player attend the pre-game ceremony and the Bulldogs had their first year indigenous player do the same.

WON THE TOSS

Don’t think Walla should be having to worry about clash jumpers when putting his soul into the design

The competition owes so much to indigenous players. The game would be a far, far less exciting and watchable without our indigenous champions.

Won the toss. Going to kick off.
