Clifton hills easily one of the best buildings going around, but we all know Bell St is where it’s at for drug deals and exchanging eBay purchases.

City locations are increasingly hard if we don’t own the location. Even if we do, we get compulsorily acquired, like at Swanston St
We used to have a spectacular building in North Sydney but closed and sold it in the early 00s. Now it’s a bank.

Tried an El Maco the other night, tbh thought it was average definitely wasn’t as good as the last one I ate like 20+ years ago at the Maccas coming out of Geelong after surfing all day at Jan Juc.
Apparently it’s real.
Probably a colab with a console company rather than outright new product
I had a similar experience with the el maco. Was a bit bland. I think it was because the meat to condiment ratio was too heavily weighted towards the meat.
The McSpicy was good though. If it was just slightly larger it would rival the zinger. Better lettuce than on the zinger though.
Working at Maccas on Canterbury road, Bayswater in 2010 we were big on cleanliness, however doing the overnight shift was hard as the drunks just trashed the place.
Standards definitely have gone down slightly but it’s more about the younger generation not wanting to do cleaning duty properly and just times.
In peak times you can’t expect staff to keep up with cleaning in the busier areas. Especially if they don’t put enough staff on. During my overnight shift there were 2 drive through workers (one taking orders and one handing out) and just the one cashier and cook. But that comes down the owner/operator and managers as I went to other stores and there were 2 to 3 counter workers and 2 cooks.
We had one operator (who owned westfield Knox, Rowville and Canterbury road) who hardly was at our store, but happy to get his hands dirty and put on more staff in those peak times but he was loaded as rumour had it he got given his first store.

Yes! Don’t make them like that anymore. Now they are just slapped together.
Just got home with 2 happy meals for the kids (6 nugg ones). Opened one to see 5 instead of 6… kid was not happy.
How hard is it to count to 6 and how often does this happen to people who order 10 packs?

Yeah the original El Maco was awesome and they used to have Mexican shaker fries. Agree that the latest version is a little underwhelming and like with everything else it has been made McSmaller
