My new fav thread
I had researched McAdam for my Supercoach team…
His pick-up has been a disaster.
At the end of 2023, Melbourne traded an F2 for him. That’s a 2nd rounder in the 2024 “super draft”. The draft that clubs were offering 2025 first-rounders to get back into the second round.
McAdam arrived with a known injury, played lacklustre football, got dropped to the VFL.
Melbourne disappointed in 2024, so the traded draft pick moved up the order.
Now it looks like another injury.
So much for the genius of Melbourne’s “Draft-er Pay” strategy.
Yep favourite thread by far
Can’t open it because it’s behind the age firewall. Assuming Kossi & Petracca are only the start of a long list…
What a terrible preseason they are enduring. Long may it last!
Sounds kinda glass-half-full.
Do better.
Hore - needs surgery on hand
Moniz-Wakefield - ACL
Oh no!
Oliver borderline flying Dees practice match
Surgeon also got his schedule mixed up and removed his testicles.
All three? Jesus bloody christ.
Sounds like his leg is no longer attached from the knee down.
Yes, I’m aware this is Heather Mills bait.
Hopefully it is the Stringer version of borderline flying.
I’m considering falsifying a report of May getting wasted on the nose beers and punching someone.
With his form and the clubs recent history, surely he’s got to cop a long term “time away from the club to reassess his priority for the game”.
Need a big ticket player like him to go down.
I don’t wish injuries on anyone, but if some one has to be sacrificed it might as well be that arsehat.
I heard Gawny hates puppies.
Tom Fullarton (hamstring) - pre-season return
Marty Hore (broken hand) - TBC
Luke Kentfield (pneumonia) - TBC
Shane McAdam (achilles) - 2026
Judd McVee (hamstring) - 6-8 weeks
Jake Melksham (hamstring) - pre-season/early 2025
Andy Moniz-Wakefield (ACL) - 2026
Kysaiah Pickett (suspension) - round four
Christian Petracca (ribs) - Fremantle practice match
Charlie Spargo (achilles) - pre-season return
Caleb Windsor (foot) - Fremantle practice match
Koltyn Tholstrup (Bone stress) - Early-mid season
Jack Viney (ribs) - Fremantle practice match
All it will take is one big player to go down and the wheels will fall off.
