Melbourne Death Ride 2025 - we’re getting the next Andy McGrath

I might load up on Melbourne players in supercoach to help this out.

What part of Oliver borderline flying do you ■■■■■ not get? Our season is farked

I choose to intrepret this as meaning he turned up to training very very high, and that he has been struggling with borderline personality disorder.

Pick 1 shall be ours, bwahahahahaaaaa.

Dark, and not true. He did what he is very good at doing. Maybe Darcy as an old head does the same for us and everybody remembers that it’s a bit of a chance game this one.

It’s preseason. At this time of year ‘true’ is whatever we all believe it to be.

Yep. I don’t even know why I’m reading Melbourne reports. I like the Mad Max feeling about this thread though

The AFL once again doing it’s rules on the run specialty. Even though the SSP signing window closed on Friday they have re-opened it to allow Melbourne to sign Jai Culley.

And presumably any other club who may have copped a season ending injury over the weekend (such as Carlton) and wishes to sign on an SSP player.

If I know Essendons recent history of the last 20 years, there is absolutely nothing surer than Melbourne winning the flag this year.

I might actually go and put money on it.

It’s just unfortunate that this is the first time in history that a player has been injured 2 weeks before the season starts.

Thats rubbish, they should have had to deal with the consequences of the deadline.
Maybe if AFL extended all list sizes by 1 less of an issue.

Was it the Dogs who choose not to sign anyone? and leave a spot open.

Watch the afl change the rules where Tasmaina can get acess to clubs academy tasie players and f/s

Talk that they will get access to Tasmanian players father sons, like Riewoldt etc.

Honestly that is a joke, it’s purely off the back of jagga smith doing his knee because he was a top pick

Thats bulshite be like if Matty was Tasimain and they have acess to Jacob Llyod

They will get to choose, not a lot different to Blakey choosing Swans academy over the tin rattlers.

True.

They are going to get a lot of first round picks as concesions imo they can only be used in a trade for players and not the draft

It is cute that you tie the fortune’s of one club to the totally unrelated fate of a different club, and then attribute it to history.

The only basis of a prediction of a Melbourne comeback is a dead easy draw.

They have been handed half a dozen wins.(unless they really implode)

I don’t agree. Oliver at anywhere near his best, Petracca playing most weeks again and a decent injury run will see them top 6.

True. But they have both. A bottom four draw and a lot of top liners who could return to form.
