Melbourne Death Ride 2025 - we’re getting the next Andy McGrath

Or an enormous carpet.

That place stinks to high heaven right now

Mick Warner referred to gambling and booze, crisis meetings at AFL House with Bartlett.
IIRC SWMNBN ran with much the same line, that Goodwin needed to change his behaviour.
I can’t remember who made the drugs allegations, perhaps a leaked letter from a supporter or coterie member, with social media going feral.

Love how it’s not efc so we’ll just accept that and move on no questions asked.

Yep, sad but true

The AFL will in that case introduce some new law forcing us to return Melbourne’s future pick after which we will be compensated with an extra twilight game on a Sunday against Fremantle. That’s about the normal standard of “break” we get.

Sounds familiar re Goodwi …as with Essendon, sweep it under the mat, with afl backing.

Nah, clearly the AFL will chose next year to investigate Melbourne’s use of banned supplements under Dank. As a result, they’ll lose their first round draft pick. Too bad so sad, us.

Chris Johnson, Jarrod Molloy, John Barker and 5 other blokes went from Fitzroy to Brisbane.

Melbourne gifted an easy fixture.

The easiest fixture on par with Richmond.

(According to afl.com.au)

Hilarious.

To be fair, Richmond don’t get the luxury of playing Richmond.

How can you call Brad Boyd some “other bloke”?

They do, however, have the luxury of playing Essendon

Prolly twice…lucky bastards

Well considering the price Norf had to pay to get back into this years draft, think it’s safe to say this ride can now take off!

Considering Goodwins desire for “the good stuff” at Essendon and his well documented gambling issues his whole career, the likelyhood of a booze and drug issue along side seems highly plausible.

Agreed. If we were going to give the Dees F1 it would have happened last night.
We may offer a F2 and a current 2nd round to move up but both F1s should be safe.

I don’t put too much weight in tough/easy draws these days, most games are going to be tough with the exception of Richmond, I expect Melbourne to finish anywhere between 16th and 10th.

Just remembering, sorry gents but 22 misfortunes
