I highly doubt any of these mid-season draft players will be AFL ready, especially from a physical preparation point of view. These guys are being picked from 2nd tier comps, they won’t have any intel about gameplan or anything like that. I agree with Chris Scott’s view that this draft will be used to warehouse talent that you might not otherwise be able to access in the November draft.
