A cooker pilot, I’ve heard of everything now.
South Korean Orion goes down.
Thanks for posting.
Plane with 133 people has crashed near Ahmedabad, India
wide range of numbers being reported.
Air India, crash on take-off to UK. Could be 242 on boad.
787 Dreamliner. (VT-ANB)
■■■■.
Being a 788 if it’s full it would be carrying 256 pax plus crew. They would already know the exact number onboard but probably not releasing anything just yet
Based on the suburb it is reported crashed into, went down within a kilometre of the end of the runway.
Recording stops when it reached 625 feet altitude, which was over that end of the runway.
Yeah, so there will be lots of casualties on the ground as well. Tragic.
That coverage is saying there were 242 passengers on board.
Showing under construction buildings that it hit.
Faaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrk.

Clearer video.
Still had landing gear down
Called mayday almost immediately after taking off. That’s sounds very unusual? (for the experts)
Same flight had tech issues in December 2024.

Can only assume they were beyond V1 and then lost power in both, pretty much the worst case scenario.
That video you posted the comms were saying at that point there is nothing much the pilots could try and do other than try landing straight. But in a built up area that would be basically impossible.
I can’t imagine what the pilots must have been going through in those moments.
First operational hull loss of a 787 and first casualties.
The same aircraft operated a Delhi to Melbourne return trip last week
Fingers crossed maybe not. Areas for a few ks from runways are normally clear. But…
Just saw the video. No such thing as a clear area.
Live coverage shows it crashed into an apartment building complex.
