HUGE
That was insane off a pretty high ball.
Nice to make it back to the big dance but job not done yet. Let’s hope the Mets can pull off something special tomorrow
Soto setting himself up for a contract in the $600-700 Million range.
Stanton was incredible during that series. Absolute clutch hitting.
Was a fun season Mets
But if he cured cancer, he would be lucky to get about 1% of that.
Mets spent a hell of a lot of money and have nothing to show for it
Rumors they are all in on Soto next
They gave up 46 runs in 6 games against LA.
Probably should spend the Soto money elsewhere
Pete Alonso an FA too this year. He won’t be playing for peanuts.
I am SOOO excited to see NYY vs LAD. So excited…
Grrrreeeeeaaaaatttttttt… Yankees v Dodgers.
It’s like, how would you prefer your ■■■■ sandwich sir, toasted or with sprinkles?
Meanwhile another player the Cardinals traded becomes a playoff superstar (Tommy Edman).
I’m looking forward to it now even as a Giants fan. Hate both teams so will be happy that one of them loses. Hate the Yankees a little less so go Yankees.
I’m still yet to truly tap into MLB but have spent a few years following japanese ball and fell in love with the game via watching it live there… Although doom and gloom in here due to the teams - i’m excited to watch Ohtani and Judge go at it as a spectator. Both seem very likeable. I wish Yamamoto all the success regardless of his price tag also!
Japanese baseball is the freaking best! So much fun.
Fernando Valenzuela, 1981 NL rookie of the year and Cy Young award winner, has passed at the age of 63. Still the only player to win both in the same year.
Of course 1981 was the last Dodgers-Yankees World Series, and he played a very important part in LA winning it all that year. Certainly kind of an odd coincidence.
STANTON!
I’m holding my nose and cheering for the Yankees. Beat LA.
