Black hawk down, Braveheart and Last Samuri, awesome flicks and great fun to watch again and again.
Never heard of it before now.
I watched Westerplatte Resists last night.
A 1967 Polish movie on Netflix
Referred to the attack on Westerplatte Peninsula…one of the first battles of the war…the Polish troops were expected to last about 12 hours but resisted for almost a week.
I enjoyed it.
Acording to my movie library, l have a modern version of this battle, bought it almost exactly 6 years ago, but never got around to watching it. It will be packed away now, and it will probably take a few years before l get around to viewing it.
l could agree with you, but then we would both be wrong. Instead l found these links to an in depth analysis of Apocalypse Now, they discuss some of the major themes in depth, the whole analysis goes for over an hour. This is not a movie review, in any way, shape or form. l don’t expet you to watch it, but if you want the story/characters explained, this is a good starting point not that l agree with all that is said in here.
Just found this on You Tube. It includes a couple of movies l haven’t heard of and am now interested in finding.
But wait, there’s more…
l will just put this one here for now, but if Spies is considered a different enough genre to merit its own thread, then l will move it.
