MUSIC GENRE - Punk - TOP 10 bands

I know it’s been said multiple times but christ on a bike Tim Rogers to the Hard-Ons?

I like Coprolalia ep and that’s really it from YAI. It’s a bit nostalgic.

I saw him at a Norf game once but Tim Rogers to the Hard-Ons, ■■■■■■ what?

Still listen to the Hard-Ons, have loved Battlefield & Dickcheese also the 90’s stuff since I was a teenager. Some of this century’s stuff has been okay but the last album was not good. Tim Rogers, I’m kinda laughing at that. I just notified an old high school mate who lives in Toronto now and cannot wait for his response.

Chill out bro

I really enjoyed the period where Blackie took on the lead vocals. Pete from Regurgitator was on drums and it worked well like that. “Very Exciting!” was probably the best of those albums.

During that time Ray and Blackie were also putting out some great albums with their side project called Nunchukka Superfly. It was punk but with some more prog elements.

Blackie and Ray will be loving the fact that it’s pssed so many people off. They’re both smart-arses. Especially Ray.

They couldn’t care less.

Pretty sure I saw NS live probably about 95 or 96. They had the guy from Massappeal but I’ve not listened to much of their stuff. Saw Ray Ahn going nuts doing some noise at the Punters Club too.

Lead sing Jason used to run water for my footy club at the height of their fame. He loved being around the boys, was an all round good guy and even gave a shout out to the club on their CD 's thank yous.

I wouldn’t have thought there were many people on this forum that would be into this sort of thing. I like em. Other bands in the vein that are worth looking at Nora, Norma Jean, The Chariot.

That first gig at the metro with ■■■■ all people there was amazing. I think white tar had had some triple j play at the time.

Their first tour in 2001 they played at the Hifi Bar. It was for their first album.

Joby was dressed as Hitler for some reason.

Warped were the support band. They’d just released Quicker ways to blacker Eyes. That is one of my all time favourite albums.

They formed in 2002 - Main stage metro was their first show

I did see them with Nunchucker superfly at the espy about a year or so later
