This starts like wonky Bond theme before morphing into their poppier side with its glorious chorus and its floating middle 8.
Can’t get enough of The Smile and all things Yorke at the moment, but would really like some new Radiohead stuff soon. Looking forward to Thom in October.

Been giving the new The The album Ensoulment a whirl. First one in about 25 years. I’m enjoying it a great deal. Way better than Nakedself… It’s in that same sort of territory as Mind Bomb/Dusk, which is no bad thing. Favourite tracks (so far, and liable to change)… Zen & The Art of Dating and Risin’ Above The Need…
There’s not much of it up on Youtube yet, but the first “single” gives you the general idea…

I’m not one who normally pays a lot of attention to drums, but there are a few tracks where they specifically grab my attention.
The drums on this dare everyone else to keep up.
Playing it is like barely being in control of surfing a massive wave.
