She was in Magic Dirt back in the day.
Has since released three excellent solo albums.
I first saw her on Rockwiz doing a duet with J Mascis from Dinosaur Jr (see below)![]()

Little Miss ASB (6 years old) is K POP Demon Hunters mad atm (Mum is hoping she gets over it) so for Christmas I bought her this
and this CD

So I bring you this ![]()
I have the CD in car this is the family sing along
Ah, the big comeback single…
The CD is quite weird as it goes into traditional music and a song we call the ELVIS song
Finishing with this big outro , I don’t mind the album, I think it is well crafted , may have been guilty of cranking a couple of tracks whilst driving solo
Haha the lil kids had this film on tonight.
And you liked it
That’s a helluva singalong track. It’s not terrible as far as these things go, and I’ll freely admit the girl singing it has a top-notch voice. Some hella high notes in there, and every cover I’ve heard has utterly butchered it… and you haven’t lived until you’ve attended a primary school concert and had your eardrums assaulted by a child attempting it…
LMB has become a K-pop fan since the movie and our recent Seoul trip. All fairly inoffensive. And annoyingly catchy…
Prog is the gift that keeps on giving (as long as you’re prepared to do a bit of digging).
I’ve been listening to quite a bit of Riverside lately and found out today that the main guy has a side project called Lunatic Soul.
Just listened to their first two albums (imaginatively titled Lunatic Soul and Lunatic Soul II
) and they’ve both gone straight onto the playlist.
I used to be all about this song, twenty years ago.
Just rewatched Magnolia and was reminded what a great song this is.
I really feel this may be Radiohead’s most overlooked song. A #1 smash that never was. That squalling solo in the outro is a thing of beauty…
For moments I feel like this album is the future of rock. Then there are moments when I feel it’s all a little too “try hard”
Anyone else out there listening to Geese
There was a bit of chat in here about a week back.
