We just released a new three year blue print.
Suns are desperate to get the no.1 pick and land Andrew Wiggins next draft.
They want to secure as many round one picks as they can then trade a few to attract a big name.
Apparently next years draft is **** hot and possibly one of the best ever. The top 15 players are expected to be 10-15 year franchisees.
Bit like the aints? Sigh I don't think the Lakers have drafted a gun kid since Van Exel...
Eddie Jones was good enough for me.
Pity when we traded him.
I liked the Shaq, Nick the Quick and Jones trio.
We aren't really the kind of team to build through the draft. Don't need it when you can secure players like Shaq through free agency.
I think the last franchise-type player we drafted was James Worthy.

I liked Eddie Jones too, but did not do much when he left the Lakers if I remember correctly.
That Bryant bloke has done ok for the Fakers. You may as well have drafted him, Jerry West traded Vlade for the pick the day before the draft and told the Hornets who to take at 14
Um, Kobe was taken by the Hornets at 14 and immediately traded to the Lakers. They got Vlade, he lakers told them to take Kobe at 14.
Or are you just being a ■■■■■■■■ again?
Me being a ■■■■■■■■ again? I forgot how it panned out. But yes it is coming back to me (a little). I remember at the time I was unhappy to lose Vlade as I loved him, it was a great deal for us getting Kobe though, something like when Essendon got Lloyd and Lucas in reality...
Oh and I did not count Kobe (in any case) because we did not draft him...
The first guard to ever be taken out of high school, Bryant was chosen as the 13th overall draft pick by the Charlotte Hornets in 1996.[28] According to Arn Tellem, Bryant’s agent at the time, Bryant playing for the Charlotte Hornets was “an impossibility”.[29] However, Bill Branch, the Hornets’ head scout at the time, said that the Hornets agreed to trade their draft selection to the Lakers before picking Bryant. The teams agreed to the trade the day before the draft and the Lakers did not tell the Hornets who to select until five minutes before the pick was made.[30] Branch said that prior to the trade agreement, the Hornets never even considered drafting Bryant. Prior to the draft, Bryant had worked out in Los Angeles, in which he scrimmaged against former Lakers players Larry Drew and Michael Cooper, and according to then-Laker manager Jerry West “marched over these people”.[31] On July 1, 1996, West traded his starting center, Vlade Divac, to the Hornets in exchange for Bryant’s draft rights.[32] Since he was still 17 at the time of the draft, his parents had to cosign his contract with the Lakers until he was able to sign his own when he turned 18 before the season began.[33]
Thanks. That is an exceptional report. Now you wanna tell me what this has to do with me being a ■■■■■■■■ again? Other than because I don't like stockton, k malone or think that archie thompson's on field persona is anthony mundine like.

You didn't even read it, did you. The Lakers DID draft Kobe, considering they traded for the pick AND instructed the Hornets on who to pick. Or does your "wah wah wah I hate Kobe even though he won my team 5 rings" crap blind you to facts and logic?

This has the potential to be me and Bomber_Fanatic "Amare double double" like.

Have at it Gents...................
Nothing gets that big, that was GRAND!
Yes I did read it. Technically Charlotte called the name out, however I do take your point, you are clearly the font of all knowledge, blah blah blah... Now please explain the "■■■■■■■■ AGAIN" bit and the "wah wah wah I hate Kobe even though he won my team 5 rings". And then I am happy to move on.
I don't not like Kobe, I just don't love him. I don't believe he did that thing he was accused of. I don't necessarily agree with some of the things he says and does. I think I am fairly unbiased towards him. I respect his basketball ability, I think he is one of the best Lakers ever, but I am more of a Magic Johnson fan, I like the charismatic team leader sort of player, not the one who has been divisive and abrasive in the past, see some of his comments re Shaq.
I keep replying to you because I don't appreciate your insults directed at me (I appreciate that dickhead is not overly harsh, and it can infact be quite jocular, but I don't think that is how you are using it). I barely dish insults out in here because I have respect for others and even though I can be largely anonymous in here I tend not to attack others who have points of view that differ from me. I remember we had a disagreement (I cannot remember exactly what it was over now) and we exchanged PM's and I developed a respect for what you have to say. I don't think the feeling was mutual and I think your attitude towards me went downhill a bit less than a year ago.
ROY: Ben McLemore (I wanted to draft him in the Fantasy NBA Comp, but I don't pretend to know a lot about the kids these days and I did not want to choose someone that was regularly selected)
