BREAKING: Anthony Davis just released his first signature shoe ![]()
They traded Luka for a courtside fan
And got Flagg in the process (nothing to see here)
I dunno if the Jazz are openly tanking, but if so they surely realised that Charlotte actually want to be good so it doesnât need to be this blatant?
Hornets 58
Jazz 24
5 minutes played in the second quarter.
And now 77-38 at the half.
Dennis Schroder banned for 3 games for trying to start a fight with doncic 40 minutes after the game
What a beat down that was
I would back Luka in that punch on
I reckon Schroder would take him
OKC basketball is thoroughly unenjoyable, theyâll win it all, but its so boring
That Bam foul that was challenged and not over turned is everything wrong with the NBA at the moment.
The challenge system in general is annoying.
Iâd almost prefer the ref making their judgment and letting it go from there (right or wrong).
They used to just check the foul only, but that expanded to proximity fouls (or judgments) before the contact. It also used to be that they just use certain âtv anglesâ but now they can access any footage (even a grainy overhead shot).
And I still donât understand how you can challenge 2 decisions, win both challenges and you cannot use any more challenges after that.
Iâm not sure what the answer is though. The time these challenges take and how long the last few minutes take (due to intentional fouls and time outs) makes games a tough watch.
No matter what is done, a good amount of people will hate it.
The challenge shouldnât be judged by the refs, I think that would both speed things up and ensure correct decisions.
I know cricket also suffers from the umpiring fraternity, however having a 3rd umpire overrule based on more factual analysis rather than vibes is way better than sending it to umpires to undo their first decision is â â â â
Iâm not sure it really matters.
The trust in whoever is making the judgement is gone.
The default stance would be âthe refs have it in for usâ. Regardless of what the data shows.
