I see a Lucas Cooper on our list, is Michael Cooper also on it?
Heâs a 2020 prospect I believe (NT Thunder site lists him as a 2002 birthday)
Gee heâs nice off the deck, and lateral movement!
Jeffrey Simon is a December birthday, which should work in his favour for a CatB spot.
Lucas Cooper was eligible last year, he is from Maningrida. Unlike Lucas, Michael is Tiwi based and now playing for the Wanderers.
This is a video from his RS last season.
At the Wanderers, Cooper is also playing alongside another two guys who may be eligible to us next year, John and Stanely Tipiloura.
Which could give us a possible list of:
Michael Cooper
Brayden Rioli
John Tipiloura
Stanley Tipiloura
Jacob Long
Stanley Tipiloura, John Tipiloura, Breyben Tipiloura and Tyson Tipuamantumirri all mentioned in Harmit Singhâs TwitterâŚ
Commentators will have a field day with Tipuamantumirriâs name
I think there is a Clayton Tipiloura as well.
Tippa is a gonna become a very confusing nickname
So youâre saying heâs a Claytons TIPPA.
yeh might have to go with their first name or middle name, or get a bit more creative.
BRING THEM ALL IN! I WANT ALL THE TIPPAâS.
but he prefers Walla
Why do you hate the Puruntatameris so much?
Palipuaminni rolls off the tongue so easily it doesnât need any nicknames
BRING THEM IN TOO!

Down to three PuruntatamerisâŚ
Rnd 5 was played in atrocious conditions which included a torrential downfall that caused havoc in the first half.
Adam Tippa played this week and started really poorly. Playing primarily onball in the first half, he was extremely quiet and fumbly (conditions wouldnât have helped) and gave way too much space to his opponent who had the better of him. A lowlight was missing a goal from straight in front. Just before half time he got involved in a physical altercation, which left him on the canvas for a minute or two. His second half was a big improvement. He showed more intent and physicality and got his hands on the ball a lot more. A smother he was responsible for in the dying minutes was tremendous. It was good to see him playing as a mid/fwd rather than half back. If he has any chance of making it to the top level he should be played in the midfield or fwd line exclusively. All in all, I am not an advocate for selecting him, even as a category B rookie, but I admit that his highlight tape is extremely compelling.
Jeff Simon is my man, so I was hoping for another eye catching performance, and I didnât quite get it. Simon does some eye catching things and can be very creative. At one point, where he was corralled, with ball in hand he ran straight into his opponent and bounced off him, wrong footing his opponent and allowing him the space that he needed. It wasnât your traditional donât argue, but it was just as good. On another occasion he pick pocketed a player and almost kicked an amazing goal as a result. It was another case of almost having a good game. I would like to think he is very much in the conversation for a category B spot.
Cyril Rioli was AWOL in the first half. he looked disinterested at times and I wondered if him playing was a bad idea. Things changed midway through the third when he ignited the crowd with a great hanger and from then on in was instrumental in getting Tiwi back in the game. A goal and a tackle in the last few minutes were absolutely pivotal and typical Rioli.
Did Preyben Tipiloura end up playing?
Can anyone confirm whether Michael Cooper is in the Essendon NGA? Also, do we know how he went for the Wanderers in R5 after his R4 riding star award?
Yes. I think he played. Number 12 from memory.
