Interesting Port have already committed to these two. Don’t think we will see Rodan commit to Port as it would be too hard for them to get all of these guys with what they would have to pay.

Poses a serious issue for Tassie moving forward. Aside from being from Tassie or just taking a deal to get drafted/maintain your career, there is minimal attraction factor to play down there outside of money.
GWS and Gold Toast have the weather, beaches and anonymity. Tassie has apples and rain…

I think there might be a real chance we pass on him. Not a dig at him as player but theres a high chance we are going to be at pick 1-3 in the draft he is probably going to be later in the draft so we would have to weigh up needs

I dont see Blake as a top 20 prospect. Coming along nicely but the expectations need to be tempered a little imho.

I reckon we’ll take justice coz he is the type that recruiters love. Tall, skinny, good agility and a beautiful kick, with decent speed. Sweid was a small guy that wasn’t quick and just an ok kick, we have plenty of that type.

probably need to acknowledge you folks are probably basing your views on flimsy evidence such as watching him play, facts and analysing his actual performance, whereas I have no idea who he is but I like his name.

I am basing the assumption we may pass more because of where I think we will land in the draft. I think we will get that pick 1-3 and then our next pick is that 18-21( not counting all the bids and stuff inbetween) then it blows out into the 50s because we traded our third round pick for Fiorini (which I hate) so he probably lands between our second and our third we dont have, so we will have to get creativity with trades to get back in at that point but we also need to work out how to get more points for 27 to match bids on Bewick.
As a player I like him alot and hope we do get to take him but I think we made it complicated aswell.

Didn’t you say you think we’ll need a third round pick? Plenty of our players will get that. Almost every year players get traded to other clubs. But yeah, steak knife’s in a Merrett trade would definitely be on the cards.
