Good of Calder to give him relevant experience by replicating the Essendon environment.
By that metric Cody Walker is pick 20 and Drever 25 though - Pioneers and Rebels have been worse than Calder. You can have a poor team but still have 3-4 very good players in that team. Justice more than matched Drever head to head when they played. Kobe the last month has looked every bit a top 10 pick. He obviously needs to get some body strength but his vision and his off ball movement is fantastic

I’ve seen Kassab play about 4 times this year at Strathmore, midfielder who is quick and evasive, loves to go on a run, side step people take a few bounces and kick goals. Think he won the Div 1 B&F from memory.
Haven’t seen Mo Matar play, but have heard some good things, anyone seen him at all? Any ideas what club he plays for?

serious question marks on Kassab’s kicking for mine, gets his hands on it enough at underage level, if he can simply and reduce that ball drop, we could have a player on our hands.
Mo is a 190-ish 16 year fwd/utility, have heard he has played some decent level basketball. Finished in the top handful in Div 3 U16 best and fairest this year. Has been invited to try out for Calder Cannons

i think you’ve got mohammad el bardough and Mohamed Matar mixed up. ive watched Matar play live (from my first post) really promising. hes a 185ish and doesnt play basketball from what i know. el bardough does play basketball and fits your description more.
Matar has been invited to the calder cannons for u18 as well. The game against eddie betts will be streamed on kayo so could be a good look to see how he is.
