Oh man, this Ravens/Crosby stuff is messy. Ravens genuinely got cold feet and pulled out of the deal under the guise of a failed physical, despite all medical information being available to teams. After agreeing to a deal with the Raiders/Crosby they’ve caught wind of Trey Hendrickson’s free agency market being cheaper than expected as he’s ironically coming off surgery in December. They sign him for identical money to Crosby but maintain their 2 x first round draft picks and effectively ■■■■ off the entire league in doing so.

IMO Hendrickson is more of an injury risk than Crosby.
But keeping their two firsts was clearly a bigger driver.
That’s the current rumour. Now that the Cowboys have pulled out, sounds like a 1st and a 3rd might get it done.

Sounds as though he’s happy to go back. Might be because in his brief 3 day absence they added some decent pieces to the defence to help him

A huge risk whether he can continue that small sample of form, and also a question of whether he can get back from the achilles injury well (and when).

$44m is a huge number for a guy with half a season of form and an achilles injury.
Daniel Jones is a generational bag-getter. I can’t rationalise the deal l, personally.
Wasn’t much of a drop off for mine.
Threw 201yrd for 2 tds and zero interceptions 2 games before his injury.
