I’m not quite there on Stenberg>McKenna yet, but I certainly wouldn’t be upset if the Flames end up with Stenberg. Or even Verhoeff. The top 3 will be pretty even it seems.
I think the general feel across the hockey world is that McKenna is slipping, but I think he is being graded pretty harshly. He did have twice as many points as Stenberg in the championship, although Stenberg certainly looked more clutch in the big moments.

Yep, 20+ for every season he has played and if he can get to 30 which he should then it will be every season bar the shortened 20/21 season where he has reached the 30 goal mark.
He’s scoring at the same pace as he usually does.
I haven’t seen them for a little while. I know he started the year on the top line with Eichel and that looked very dangerous, but he’s been playing centre since Eichel got injured. Apparently it’s going pretty well and I think he’s playing 2C now even with Eichel back.
Geez, if only the Leafs could find a good 2C…
But from the small sample I’ve seen, he’s still had permanant sooky-sook face.
