Big shootout win for the Flames makes it 4 in a row and we’re top of the Pacific division.

Weirdest rebuild ever.

Caps have dropped 2 in a row both at home and look absolutely trash without Ovi. Today was one of the worst performances in years

Canucks without Hughes/Miller/Boeser and Demko get past the Sens, after a late scare.
Solid performance, apart from the last 2 mins…

Slightly over the top reaction.

They were putrid for a chunk of last year.

Not sure you can even count Demko anymore. Is he ever coming back?

We were but today was horrid in so many areas. Looked like we had forgotten how to skate and we were sluggish and reactive. Really should have lost by a fair bit more and only some good tending kept us in it. That was bad today

Like old mate here, Demko is the saviour…

Some interesting games on today.

Jets v Wild
Caps v Cats
Stars v Canes

Good Florida road swing.
Knocked off the Cats 4-1 and then today beat the Bolts 5-4 despite Charlie giving up one of the most horrendous own goals you will ever see

Flames got a pretty rough trot from the refs tonight, so getting a very dicey ‘too many men’ call from a friggin linesman in OT was an appropriate way to lose.

We are having a very ordinary road trip.

Still counts as goalie goal though, right?

Just watched it. That was hilarious

No own goals in hockey. Last player to touch the puck gets credited the goal so that was Brayden Points hat trick goal

I just saw it then. That’s Patrik Stefan levels of embarrassing.

Check his bank account tomorrow, that’s John the Booky level suss

Some cracking games already this morning.
Caps broke their home losing streak coming back from 4-2 down to beat the Isles 5-4 in OT thanks to a Chychrun beauty

Caps tie the franchise record and win 7 straight on the road nudging out the Devs 6-5.
2 goals in 10 seconds during the third after scores were locked at 4-4

Pretty emotional night at the Saddledome tonight. It was the Blue Jackets first game at Calgary since the Gaudreau tragedy. Johnny’s family was all there and there was a great tribute to him before the game. The family gave a number of interviews and were very generous with their time and thoughts. Big ups also to his best mate Sean Monahan (who is also still loved in Calgary) for what must have been a tough night.

Flames won 3-0, but coming into the last couple of minutes, the crowd started a massive ‘Johnny Hockey’ chant that made the result pretty secondary.

This still really farkin sucks.
