Whatever you think of the refs, that was about the best game of League I have ever seen.
It is absolutely brutal, with the tackling just ferocious. Thought the Cockies were cooked about 10 minutes to go, but they showed so much heart and guts.

The ladder looks all funny with teams with 14 points from 6 wins. Hardly anyone's got 2 x wins as their points....on the version of the ladder I saw anyway...on League Live.

They have split rounds in the NRL, not sure how many but they always do around origin time

If you look back through the past eight years, QLD have well and truly had it their way. Had a far better side sure, but also been on the end of some very generous calls. Game 1 they did everything they could to get QLD over the line, they just weren't good enough.
I think this is the first year that NSW have had a better side, certainly had a better forward pack which is where Origin is won.
Queensland had to always come back to the pack nearly had the Australian team for years...it can only go downhill from here
